Pre-Vacation Finds!

Yeah, I'm a couple of days late with this one...  The latest wave has finally hit the Cleveland area, so when I saw them at work I grabbed four of them.
X-23!

DARKHAWK!

ULTRON!

And my favorite figure out of the bunch...
COMMANDER STEVE ROGERS!

(I like him so much, he's coming out to Oakland with me... maybe I can find more figures out there...!)

New Figure Blitz!

I've been a busy boy. To start off, I knew these figs were in at the store I work at, but I figured I'd wait until they were set to buy them. (They were in an endcap shipper)

I was out with the girlfriend Monday afternoon, and decided to pick up a shelfwarmer I didn't have yet...

Then, I came across this in a rival store Monday night...

And then while the girlfriend and I were goofing around in a store yesterday I lucked out on my favorite X-Man...

Now all I need is a Cable before the September waves start hitting... bleh.

Quick update...

I've seen the Young Justice figures... meh. Same old Mattel no knees, no elbows, just shoulders and hip joints, perfect for goose-stepping and nothing else. I'll post pics tomorrow...

Captain America Toys!

They showed up at my store Thursday, and curiosity got the best of me. I got some pics with my phone. They're all comic figures, no movie figures just yet. Can't wait to pick 'em up on the 15th!

Lego Collectible Minifigs 4

I picked up six on Saturday... I only need ten more. And yes, the hockey player is going to check the gnome. Eff gnomes.

Howdy

My name is Jesse, and I am an action figure collector. I am the guy who drags his girlfriend to big box stores just to check a small section in the toy department. I often lament loudly about shelfwarmers and not enough of the one-per-case figures that are so often drooled over by my kind. In the past, I have driven up to fourty miles just on the off chance I might find that one figure that'll get me to stop obsessing for a moment.

Another important piece of info- I live in Ohio, which I'm convinced is the last place in the country to get anything new (unless it's street-dated material, like movie tie-ins).

Currently, I'm chasing down Marvel Universe 3.75 figures. I'm looking forward to the Captain America and Green Lantern movie figures.
