Re-purposed!

Since I don't currently have the moolah to chase after new action figures, I figured I'd re-purpose my blog to show off some painting and modelling.

First off is my Heroclix Infinity Gauntlet dial.  It's a participation prize for the first month of the eight month long event.  Unfortunately, it comes in plain white, with a gold gauntlet.  Meh.
So here's my touched up version:

I think it looks suitable for Thanos now, don't you?

My second offering to the blog is the only Blood Angel I've ever painted, my (generic) Blood Angel Captain.  I modeled him with a magnetized weapon-swappable left arm (I've uploaded the pictures of the sword arm).

Finally, I've added pictures of my Sefadu Gunner from the minitures game MERCs.  He's part of a 6 person crew of corporate mercenaries from Africa, fighting against other global corporations.

It's hard to buy new action figures when you're unemployed...

Pre-Vacation Finds!

Yeah, I'm a couple of days late with this one...  The latest wave has finally hit the Cleveland area, so when I saw them at work I grabbed four of them.

New Figure Blitz!

I've been a busy boy. To start off, I knew these figs were in at the store I work at, but I figured I'd wait until they were set to buy them. (They were in an endcap shipper)

I was out with the girlfriend Monday afternoon, and decided to pick up a shelfwarmer I didn't have yet...

Then, I came across this in a rival store Monday night...

And then while the girlfriend and I were goofing around in a store yesterday I lucked out on my favorite X-Man...

Now all I need is a Cable before the September waves start hitting... bleh.
